Shirley R. French, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ June 23 at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, FL.
She was born in Kentucky to James and Roxie French on November 3rd 1935. At the age of 12 the family moved to Indiana where she would later raise her five children.
Upon retirement from Eli Lilly in 1997, she moved to Florida where she loved walking on Englewood Beach, collecting shells and playing golf. She also loved driving and made many road trips back to Ohio and Indiana where many of her family and friends lived.
She was preceeded in death by her son Jeff Stonebraker. Surviving are sons James Stonebraker, Christ Stonebraker, Troy Stonebraker, daughter Nancy Stonebraker, grandson Jason Stonebraker, granddaughter Vanessa Bernhardt and sisters Geraldine Bartlette and Sandra Greenwood.
Shirley loved God, Westcoast Pastors Dan and Nancy Turpin and the whole church family.
