A Mass will be held at the Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood, FL on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. The burial will immediately follow at the Gulf Pines Cemetery in Englewood, FL.
Marian was born in Staunton, IL to Michael and Bernadine (Stemploski) Huhsman on April 7, 1928. She later moved to New Jersey and became an Executive Buyer for Macy’s (Bamberger’s) for many years. She married Hank on July 28, 1974 in Hawthorne, NJ, where they resided before retiring and moving to Englewood, FL. They spent their time together entertaining, traveling, yachting and enjoying their family. She took on a family of 3 stepdaughters, of which she gave her deep love and affection.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Michael & Bernadine Huhsman, her brother James “Hupp” Huhsman, and her nieces Tricia and Andrea Huhsman, all of Staunton IL.
She is survived by her husband and love of her life Hartford “Hank” Henry; her stepdaughters Jan (Jeff) West of Venice, FL, Nora (Bryan) Jackson of Rensselaer, NY and Gail (John) Koromhas of Mantoloking, NJ; her sister-in-law Marilyn Huhsman of Staunton, IL; brother Stephen “Butch” (Kathy) Huhsman of Staunton IL; grandchildren Amy Dolomont Sanchez of Spokane, WA, Michael (Karin) Dolomont of Killingworth, CT, Karen (Jacob) Chambers of McGuire AFB, NJ and Allison Dolomont of Carteret, NJ; great-grandchildren Karma & Tre Sanchez of Spokane, WA, Michael Dolomont, Jr. of Killingworth, CT, Maddyson Chambers of McGuire AFB, NJ and Violet Dolomont Cudjoe of Carteret, NJ; nephew Jason (Cynthia) Huhsman of Bethalto, IL and Aaron Huhsman of Staunton, IL; great nephew Jacob Huhsman and great niece Jaiden Huhsman, both of Bethalto, IL.
In lieu of flowers, Marian’s family is asking to consider making a donation to her parish: St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, 770 Kilbourne Ave., Englewood, FL 34223.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to everyone involved in the immediate care of Marian, including all the doctors, nurses, EMT responders and Hospice members.
