Joseph Edward Daniel Jr.

Motorcycle enthusiast Joseph E Daniel Jr was born on Feb 25, 1950. On November 5, 2021 at the age of 71, Joe passed away after a courageous battle with cancer in comfort of his home next to his loving wife as he wished.

Joe was an artist at heart, with a love for live music and people. Joe’s family and friends were always his priority. His compassion and love for sharing wisdom and encouragement led to many friendships that he strongly cherished. He was just an “Old Salty Dog” as they would say who lived to be on the boat or on the motorcycle. Joe’s Playful spirit and sense of humor shinned brightly despite his circumstances and he shared that spirit with everyone. Joe will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by son Joseph III; mother, Shirley; dad, Joseph Senior; brother, Jimmy. Joe is is survived by his wife, Ruth; a son, daughter in law, and 4 grandchildren Justin and Meredith; a daughter and son in law, Paige and DJ; a nephew and wife, Robert and Shelly; sisters Lou Anne, Brenda, Jackie; brother, Allen; and many beloved friends.

Joe will be honored in a Memorial Service at 10:30am November 20, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Englewood, FL. Community gathering will be held after the services in the Hall at Calvary Baptist Church for those that would like to spend more time with the family, share memories, and visit.

A Motorcycle memorial ride will begin at family home and end at Calvary Baptist Church.

The family request that in lieu of flowers donations to Calvary Baptist Church or Mission22 (an organization whose mission is to end veteran suicide in America).
