Janice Tate

Janice was born in Venice, Florida to Roy and Rose Tate on November 24, 1953. She graduated from Venice High School in 1971. She attended Manatee Technical College and earn her Dental Assistant license. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Jeffrey Janoff for a decade. She also worked for Dr. Joseph Chirillo for many years. Janice enjoyed volunteering with the Lemon Bay High School Marching Band and the Lemon Bay High School Theatre throughout her children's schooling.

Janice is survived by her mother, Rose Tate-Kyle of Englewood, her children Gretchen (Jeff) Hughes of Venice, Fl, Jennifer (Jeremy) Singleton of Venice, Fl, and Bryan Bianche of Englewood, Fl. Other family member include her significant other, Gerry Friede of Englewood and her sister Joyce (George) Tison of Englewood, Fl. Janice's grandchildren include Madison, Chelsea, Samantha, Paige and Jackson. She is preceded in death by her father Roy Tate.

Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 am. The church is located at 404 West Green Street, Englewood. Pastor Mike will be officiating. Lemon Bay Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
