James Alvin Burns, age 90, of Venice, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
He was born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania on September 12, 1933, to the late Emmett S. Burns, Sr. and the late Mary Ruth Brown Burns. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City and received an Engineering Degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Jim enjoyed in his life sailing, art, and music.
Arrangements are being made by Lemon Bay Funeral Home and Cremation Services. James will be laid to rest in his hometown of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.
