Donovan L. Gatewood

Don was born in Hays, Kansas to Donovan and Virginia Gatewood on October 6, 1944. He attended St. Joseph's Military Academy and graduated in 1962. He went on to honorably serve our country in the United States Army, completing two tours in Vietnam. Later, he went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He worked as a Sales Rep for Tweco for 35 years. Don was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed good music, playing guitar, and he loved Classic Cars/Mopar.

Don is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy of Rotonda West, FL, his daughter Erin (Ryan) Smith, daughter Niki Gatewood, son Jesse (Jazmine) Gatewood, sister Gwynne Van Scoyk, brother Stephen Fitz James, he has two grandchildren he adored and finally, his "Best Buddy," his dog - Corona.
