I was very sad to hear about Shivaun's passing.  I have many happy memories of us as young girls.  My thoughts and prayers are with Maureen and Bernadette.

Shivaun, your contagious laugh, wit and smile will be so missed. We had so many fun and mischievous  times. Your family was blessed to have you although it is way to soon for you to leave us. But the heavens now have you and what a time they will have keeping you in line! Miss you my friend. Love you.....

I was so sorry to hear that Shivaun had passed away. We went to PV together and what I remember of her is her ever present smile. I can't ever remember a time when she wasn't smiling. She always had a kind word for everyone and stuck up for everyone; friend or foe. Thank you for your friendship, Shivaun.

Shivaun was an amazing woman.  She did everything full out and was passionate about her family and friends.  We worked together at Honeywell but were also friends outside that corporate door sharing stories and parenting challenges along the way.  So blessed to have had her warm and sunshine in my life.  My deepest condolences to her entire family, truly a tragic loss of spirit.  May you rest in peace until we meet again.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Shivaun's passing.  We had many great times together at Honeywell.  She was great fun and a wonderful lady - my sincere condolences to her family.

I've been thinking about Shivaun and her family.I ran into Mrs. Horton years back and she updated me on Shivaun. She was so proud! Here is our 7th grade volleyball team at OMOS. Our mother's made the shirts. Another picture I have with Shivaun is with the caption "Sweet 13!" We were wearing mini-skirts. Even the nuns did back then. Much love and prayers as well as gratitude for knowing Shivaun.

Shivaun and I were childhood friends and classmates at OMOS. I remember many good times at school and in after school sports! My momma would let me walk to the Horton house after school because she liked Mrs. Horton! That was big for me. Regrettably, we lost touch with time, but the fond memories will last forever. Momma and I send our deepest condolences to your family.

I worked with Shivaun for many years at Honeywell and am so sad to learn of her passing.  She had a laugh that was so contagious and I will always remember the good times we had at work.  She was also a terrific mother who always put her kids first.

I am so very sorry to hear of Shivauns passing. She was in my family for a long time as my sister-in-law. I missed her sense of humor and self worth. My sincere condolences to my niece Amanda and nephew Justin. Although we have lost touch over the years I always got my updates from family.  Always in my heart and still are at this very difficult time. Shivaun was a great person, hard working fantastic mother. She will be greatly missed.  Rest in peace sweet lady, you have done well on your short stay on this earth. God Bless you and yours.

Shivaun and I were on the cheerleading team at OMOS Catholic school and the pom pom team at Palo Verde High School.  What has always stood out to me about Shivaun was her strength to be her own individual.  And, that she was dauntless at trying her hand at a variety of things and always found a way to succeed.  She could be driven and compassionate. You can bet that Shivaun will find a way to contribute in the afterlife -- it's just her nature. xoxo


I was very sorry to hear the shocking news of Shivaun's death. I went through grade school and high school with her, but lost touch over the years. I remember her intelligence, passion, and drive. I am not surprised that she had a successful finance career. But far more importantly, I am happy to hear that she had a loving family, including grandchildren! I will never forget after school visits to her home on Calle Ileo and being fascinated by her mother's Irish brogue! Rest In Peace, dear Shivaun. My deepest condolences to her loved ones.

So sorry to hear about Shivaun's passing. Too soon to have left this world, but thankfully now lives eternally in heaven.  I went to PV with Shivaun and she was a wonderful, caring and considerate person. I will remember her friendship and think of her often until we meet again.

Shivaun and I were Cheerleaders together-she had an enormous spirit.  Long story, related to her time working at the movie theater in Park Mall,  but whenever I hear the theme to Rocky I think of Shivaun with a smile.

I was with Shivaun at OMOS from 3rd until 8th grade. She always had a sparkle in her eye and the energy and drive to go with it. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

I went through both grade school and High School with Shivaun. I will always remember her as being one of the smartest students in class. She was ahead of her time and was always a take charge kind of person. The earth will miss you Shivaun !

It is quite a shock to hear of Shivaun's passing. I was in Bernadette's class at Our Mother of Sorrows. To all of Shivaun's family, my deepest condolences.

The Horton family has been an extension of our family since we became friends back in '69.  My childhood memories all revolve around my love of this family. Shivaun's passing is such a shock to me, finding the words is difficult.  She was so smart, strong, loving and had a smile that lit up a room.  It felt good to be near her.  My heart goes out to her kids, husband, Bernadette, Maureen and to their families who love her so much.  Shivaun will be terribly missed but also remembered with great love . She is with her wonderful parents now and with Jesus. I hope that brings us all some comfort during this difficult time.

Shivaun was my best friend in grade school, and though we went our separate ways I never stopped caring about her. She was sweet, funny and so smart, and came from a lovely family. I am saddened to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to her entire family and all those who knew and loved her. She will be missed and never forgotten. God Bless.
