the age of 75.
Bob was born in Dayton, Ohio, April 17, 1947. He graduated Centerville High School
class of 1965. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University.
Bob enjoyed seeing natural wonders and didn’t want to stay in any one place more than
1-2 nights at most. He loved camping in the mountains, pontoon boating on mountain
lakes, eating more than his share of cheeseburgers, and a stiff margarita now and then.
He enjoyed motorcycle riding on twisting mountain roads, and walking Maggie to
wherever her nose would lead her. He was a loving and devoted husband who would
take care of the household chores so his “wif” could go to work without sweating the
small stuff. Bob had the most snarky sense of humor (which I believe was influenced by
his parents) and wasn’t afraid to make profane exclamations if and when a situation
called for it.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jenifer Heffner, son, Robert Justin Heffner (Brianna),
daughter, Rachel Heffner Blake (Patrick), stepdaughter, Courtney Renaud and
grandchildren Morgan Heffner, Madison Heffner, Elsie Blake, Isla Blake and James
Rhys Blake and his beloved Westie pup, Maggie. He was preceded in death by his son,
Matthew Llewellyn Heffner, father Robert Elvin Heffner, and mother, Nancy Lee Heffner.
A graveside service will be held at Mansion Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00pm on
June 4th, 2022.
