February 14, 1924 – April 14, 2018
Lloyd passed peacefully on Saturday April 14th, 2018. He had lived a long well lived life of 94 years and was known for his vibrant personality. He had a strong love for his family, his pal & pup “Bailey”, & watching the ”Tampa Bay Lightning” .
He was a loving father and is survived by Katharine Goehle (Bob), James Robertson, John Robertson (Sandra), Lori Robertson and Grandfather to Colin Robertson. He is deceased by his adored wife Alisen Milroy, his parents Mary (Crawford) and James Robertson & 5 sisters Helen, Evelyn, Margaret, Edna, and Jean from Vancouver, British Columbia. He grew up in Craik, Saskatchewan where he loved playing hockey & curling. He was proud to serve in WWII in the Canadian Navy. After the war he met his sweetheart Alisen and were happily married for 63 years . He worked for Ford Motor Company International Tractor Division for 35 years where he travelled to over 30 countries to help teach Dealers & Farmers how to cultivate their land. After being transferred to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in the early 1970’s he retired to Imperial Lakes, Florida where he golfed extensively & enjoyed the great friends he made. He always felt he and his wife Alisen made the best decision they ever could have made by moving into Imperial Lakes & he thanks the great friends he made there for making his retirement years the “Best anyone could ever ask for!”
