Kristine A McGlinchey

Kristine was born in Lawrence MA on December 31, 1967. She attended the Methuen school system and graduated from Methuen High School. She later attended Salem State College and graduated from Northern Essex Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Journalism. She continued on with her education and attended Catherine Hein’s Institute of Esthetics which was the beginning of her professional career in cosmetics and retail management. She worked for retail companies including Lord & Taylor, Saks, Macys, L’Occitane, Dillard’s and Francesca’s. Most recently she was working for The Furniture Warehouse in Ellenton, FL as a Sales Associate.

Kristine leaves behind her mom Connie Laudani, dad John McGlinchey and his wife Kathy, a sister Karen Porciello, all of Florida, a brother David McGlinchey of MA, a nephew Christopher Porciello and his wife Claudia, her godson Christopher Jr. and a very special aunt Arlene Laudani, all of FL as well as multiple aunts, cousins and many dear friends.

Kristine had the kindest and most generous heart. She always put others before herself, always worrying about her family. She adored her grand-nephew Christopher Jr. and enjoyed playing trucks with him, a good game of “Uno” or going out for ice cream.

Kristine enjoyed music, writing poetry and spending time with her family. She was kind, caring, and compassionate. She lit up a room with her smile, outgoing personality and always positive attitude no matter what she might be going through. She was everyone’s loyal and supportive friend as well as the best sister anyone could ask for.

Arrangements will be held at the Groover Funeral Home, 1400 36th Ave E, Ellenton, FL 34222

Viewing/Visiting Hours: Tuesday August 30 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Funeral Service: Wednesday August 31 at 10:00am
