John Edward Scheetz

John Scheetz, 68 of Ellenton, FL passed away on December 4, 2023. He was born on July 12, 1955, and lived an exceptional and impactful life. His warm spirit and compassion endeared him to many, and he leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten.

His memory will be cherished by his devoted wife of 39 years, Francia Scheetz (Rach), sons John E (Eiron) Scheetz III, and Austin L Scheetz. His love will continue to live on through his beloved grandchildren, Samantha and Colin Scheetz. John is also survived by his brother, Russell Scheetz, his mother-in-law, Joyce Rach, his sister-in-law, Sandi (Barry) Becton (Rach), and his brothers-in-law, George (Jeanette) Rach and Anthony (Barb) Rach. His love and kindness deeply touched each of these lives, and his presence will be greatly missed.

John was predeceased by his son, Zachary G Scheetz, his father, John E Scheetz, his mother, Beatrice Scheetz (Leuz), his sister, Debra Bender (Scheetz) and his father-in-law, George Rach.

John was a longtime resident of Langhorne, PA and a lifetime member, past trustee and past president at Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company. He served for 16 years on the Langhorne Borough Council. John was also a constable and a past Republican committeeman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.

At John’s request, a Living Funeral was held this past March in Langhorne PA. The fire company will give John's ashes a final ride on the fire truck at a later date that will be published. The community is encouraged to join that last ride with American flags along the route.
