In loving memory of James Franklin John, affectionately known as Frankie who peacefully passed away on October 28th, 2023, in Parrish, Florida, at the age of 73. Born in Bradenton, Florida, he proudly graduated from Palmetto High School in 1968 and remained a devoted lifelong resident of Manatee County.
Frankie was a dedicated, hardworking man who served in the Army National Guard who poured his heart into the construction industry, embracing his heritage as a third-generation Florida cracker. His passions included fishing, hunting, sports, and cherished moments with friends, but above all, he treasured his time with his beloved family. He loved good southern cooking, enjoyed watching sports and westerns, and loved conversations out in the barn.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Corbett John (Carol); his mother Mary Marie Welch (Floyd Taylor PeeWee), Frankie is survived by his soulmate and loving wife of 44 years, Julie Runstrom John, as well as his two brothers, Corbett Mitchell John (Teresa) and Greg John (Melissa). He is also survived by his three children, Courtnie John, Darcie John (Jason), and Frankie (Kerrilee) John, and leaves behind a legacy of 8 cherished grandchildren: Michael (Lexie) Kujawski, Katie Kujawski, Ty, Brody, Jayce, Lexie, Caylee, and Colt John.
Frankie touched the lives of many, including numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. In honor of his memory, the family kindly requests that instead of sending flowers you take a moment to love life, cherish your family, and enjoy the outdoors being in the woods. As Frankie knew, time waits for no one, and these simple moments are the most precious of all.
Details for Frankie's Celebration of life will announced at a later date.
