Donald H Sexton

Donald H. Sexton ("Don"), 79, of Ruskin, Florida (formerly Brunswick, Ohio) departed from his life on earth on April 29, 2018, after fighting a corageous battle with COPD. He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Linda; his three children, Kelley Sexton, Glenn Sexton (Dawn), and Jill Sexton-Buell (Scott); 6 grandchildren, Jordan Prischak (Carla), Douglas Sexton (Christine), Aaron Prischak (Mary), Courtnie Buell (Joshua Newman), Travis Sexton (Jacqueline Katchuk), and Ashlyn Buell, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Don was greeted on the other side by his parents, Edward and Nellie Sexton, and three brothers. The family will receive visitors at the Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Avenue East (Ellenton - Gillette Road and U.S. Hwy 301), Ellenton FL 34222 (941-722-6692) on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 6 pm until 8 pm. The funeral and placement to final rest will be on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Don's memory to Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2768 Laurel Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212.
