Dennis M. Harper, born April 15, 1952, in Bennington, Vermont, passed away on October 10, 2024 at the age of 72. A man of countless talents, Dennis was a son, brother, father and grandfather who lived life fully, whether he was working with his hands or creating art. From his early days spent hunting and fishing in the Vermont woods to serving in the United States Air Force, Dennis lived with a deep respect for nature and service.
After his time in the Air Force, Dennis channeled his energy into motorcycles, becoming a skilled mechanic who could fix or ride anything. He later found his artistic calling as a tattoo artist, before moving to Florida to be by his son, Jason Harper. Dennis’s later years were spent creating beautiful works of art, ranging from slate paintings to wood burnings. His legacy is his art, which will continue to inspire those who encounter his work. He is survived by his sister Judy Forrest, his brother Harold(Butch) Harper, son Jason and wife Christine as well as many loving family members, including grandchildren and great-gandchildren.
