David N. Miller I, 73, died unexpectedly June 2, 2024 in his home. He was born December 20, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Leon and Francis Miller. Dave (Boody) attended school in Toledo and owned a detailing business that sold aftermarket toys for trucks. He married Deborah Pultz and they were married for 35 years and had 3 children. In 2019 he married his current wife Sheryl Miller, “Poolside in Paradise” and she survives.
Dave was very active as a football coach as his son was growing up and always there to help out as a Band Booster while his daughters were twirling and playing in the band. He enjoyed spending time with his family on the lake boating and loved riding motorcycles. After moving to Florida, Dave became part of a group that enjoyed shooting pool and playing poker. He played darts and even helped organize the First Annual Chili Cook-Off which he took 1st place in. He was also very active in, and proud of his Harvest Field Community Church family where he was President of the Board of Directors. He gave God, and them credit for getting him through some very rough times.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Carol Ortega and brother-in-law Scott Rosenberger. Surviving in addition to his wife, Sheryl (Rosenberger) Miller, are his children, Michelle (Chad) Corliss, David N (Jessica) Miller II, and Kendra Miller (Cliff Poland), grandchildren Kyle (Taylor) Walentoski, David and Anna Corliss, Jaquelle, Kayla and Breana Miller, Bailey Poland and Ashley Holden and great grandchildren Lilianna Durham and Myla Alber, father-in-law Kenneth Rosenberger, step-daughter Michelle Ickes, step-son Stephen Hayward, brother-in-law Phillip (Tonia)Rosenberger Sr., sister-in-law Robin Stull, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Dave’s honor at Harvest Field Community Church, 7710 121st Ave E, Parrish at a later date still to be announced. Those who wish to remember Dave in a special way may make gifts to the church in his memory.
