Curtis Myhree

Dr. Myhree, son of the late Dr. Earl and Barbara Myhree was born in Camp LeJeune, NC. Dr. Myhree graduated from St. Petersburg HS in 1965, went to University of West Florida receiving a degree in Marine Biology. In 1981 Dr. Myhree received his doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College. Dr. Myhree open his Chiropractic office in Lutz, FL where he practiced for 27 years.

In 1988, Dr. Myhree married his loving wife Michelle Rowley of Davenport, IA. They have four children, Lydia (Gabe) McNeese, Chelsea, Luke and Peter Myhree, two grandchildren Jaden and Rowan McNeese. Dr. Myhree is survived by his siblings Lynne (John) Zirkelback, Wayne (Pam) Myhree and Lane Myhree; his beloved in-laws Sherri O’Neill, Theresa (Chet) Jones, Vicki (Bill) Clark and Valerie (Steve) Scull and children-in-heart Tyler Beckinghausen and Adrianna Knight.

Dr. Myhree was a devout Christian and evangelist of the Gospel. He enjoyed praying with others and sharing his faith. He was an avid outdoorsman spending time boating, fishing and diving as well as hunting.

Service will be held at Groover Funeral Home in Ellenton, Monday, January 10th from 3PM to 7PM. The family requests any floral tributes be in the form of a living plant. Memorials may be given to MOTE Marine Aquarium and Tidewell Hospice.
