September 10, 1989 - February 17, 2015. Amy Lynne Acoveno, 25, of Parrish, Florida, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Amy was born in Silver Spring, MD on September 10, 1989, to parents Kevin and Bonnie Acoveno. She lived in Dunkirk, Maryland during the young years of her life and graduated from Belaire Baptist Christian Academy, Bowie, Maryland. She moved to Parrish, Florida in 2008. As a young child, Amy enjoyed time with her brothers and sisters, vacationing at the beach and visiting relatives in New York. Even as an adult, she was a huge fan of Disney, Mickey Mouse, Jasmine, the Mad Teacups ride and roller coasters. Her family was of paramount importance to her. Most of all, Amy was known for her adventurous and outgoing personality and her smile, even at a young age. Although she was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at 8 years old which is a lifelong complicating disease, she never for a moment allowed it to deter her zest for life and fun loving attitude. She saw the positive and good in everyone she met or worked with. Her coworkers were quick to mention her outgoing and friendly spirit, her contagious smile, and laugh. She would tell anyone that her greatest accomplishment was when she was blessed with the birth of her daughter, Natalie, on October 24, 2010. She loved her family, and the most of all, her daughter Natalie was the joy of her life. Amy is survived by her daughter, Natalie, and her parents, Kevin and Bonnie Acoveno. She is also survived by her siblings and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Acoveno, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Colby Acoveno, Mr. JT and Courtney Townsend, and Mr. and Mrs. David Leapley, her 9 nieces and nephews, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ford. Her surviving Uncles and Aunts include Mr. and Mrs. Peter Acoveno, Mr. and Mrs. Allie Acoveno, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Acoveno, and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Acoveno who will also cherish her memory. A memorial service and remembrance gathering will be held at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave East, Ellenton, FL 34222, on Thursday, February 26, 2015, from 5pm to 8 pm.
