Debora Kay Marks age 63, passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2017, at her home in Ellensburg, WA. Debbie was born June 8, 1953, in Stanley ND, the daughter of Donna Jensen and the late Richard Jensen.
Debbie and her family moved from North Dakota to Seattle Wa in 1961. She married her lifelong love Marlin in 1971 and moved to Omak, Wa in 1972. They owned a full service gas station and raised their 3 kids and made many memories. In 1989 Marlin hired on with Boeing and they then moved to Everett, Wa. In 2008, Marlin retired from Boeing and they moved to Ellensburg, Wa. During these years she made many friendships in every place she moved to.
Being an identical twin with her sister Becky was a huge part of who she was. Becky joined the angels in November 2015, and Debbie's heart was incomplete. The bond they shared will live on in heaven now that they are together.
We will miss her spunky, quirky and loveable presence. Debbie touched many people's lives that she came in contact with. Whether that was her family who she lived and breathed for, or her many friends who she cherished. Her family and friends was her world.
Her playful personality was infectious. She would get down on the floor and play twister with the grandkids and there wasn't a baby she wouldn't hold. Debbie had a big love for antiques, slot machines with her mom, and basking in the sun. She had many adventures going to country concerts, dancing the two step, shopping, and visiting her kids and grandkids in different states. Debbie had a way with everyone who walked in the room making them feel like they were her most favorite person.
Debbie leaves behind her mother , Donna Jensen (Nohr), her husband of 45 years, Marlin Marks, son, Brian Marks, son, Bradley Marks (Kelly) and daughter Misty Kilby (Ryan), sister Cindy Harmon (Maurice), sister Holly Morgan (Tony), brother Tim Jensen (Rita), and brother Dan Jensen. She also leaves behind her most precious possessions, her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Spread your wings and fly with the angels.
