William "Billy" Paugh

William “Billy” Dennis Paugh of Columbia, MD; Beloved son, brother, father, friend, veteran and “Grumpy”, passed after a short battle with cholangiocarcinoma on May 22, 2022. Billy was born October 31, 1950 to Guy William and Mary Jo Paugh in Washington, DC.

Billy served in the US Army from 1968-1972, to include two tours in Vietnam. He loved the outdoors, spending time with his grandchildren and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his children, Sheila Richardson and husband Tracey, Shawn Paugh and wife Rebecca, and Naomi Sartain; grandchildren, Angel, Joey, Kyleigh, Giuliana, Ashleigh, Adrian, Addison, and Derrick; sister, Mary Ann Stitely and husband Ron; brothers, Leo Paugh and wife Pearl and Thomas Carr; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Billy was predeceased by 8 siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off route 100) on Friday, June 3, 2022, 10:00 am. Burial will be held on Friday, June 17,2022, 2:30 pm, Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Maryland 20623, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved late wife, Connie Paugh.
