Virginia “Ginnie” Lee Kraft Glover 91 of Glen Burnie, MD passed into eternal life Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Born and raised in Baltimore, she was the daughter of John Philip Kraft Sr and Margaret Julia Kraft Stissel and stepfather Charles William Stissel, was born and raised in Baltimore. She graduated from Western High School and worked for the Chesapeake & Potomac (C&P) Telephone Company.
Ginnie met her husband of 65 years, George Donald Glover and together they settled in northern Anne Arundel County and raise two boys. Ginnie and Don were one of the original families of St. Philip Neri Parish & School (Linthicum) and Ginnie was active in living her faith in the Blessed Mother Sodality and volunteering in the parish school.
Ginnie had a deep love for her family, friends and community. She was the devoted mother of Jeffrey Glover and his wife Stephanie and William "Bill" Glover and his wife Cathy Klein-Glover; dear sister of John P. "Jack" Kraft, Jr., Edward W. “Bud” Kraft, Sr. and his wife Joan and the late Herbert Gerald Kraft; loving grandmother of Amanda, Laurel, Samantha, and James and cherished great-grandmother of Cadence, Kinsley, and Harper
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at the Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6405 S.Orchard Road, Linthicum Heights, Maryland 21090 on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 10:00am. Interment following Mass at Meadowridge Memorial Park with a reception to follow.
