Thomas Wesley Reams

Thomas Wesley Reams, age 83, of Elkridge, Maryland passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Devoted Spouse of 58 years to Ilajean Reams; Loving Father of Paige Waters (Trent) and Dan Reams (Diana); Beloved Son of the late Thomas and Ethel Reams; Dear Brother of William Reams and Anne McDonald; Cherished Grandfather of Erin Waters, Andrew Waters, and Nicole Reams; Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tommy worked from the time he was a teenager until 1987 as a long distance truck driver. After selling his 18 wheeler, he started a career as a welder for Russell William Ltd. When he semi-retired, he spent several more years working for the Howard County Parks and Rec. Tommy was also active in his church as a Sunday school teacher, bus driver, and usher. He loved to work with his hands, and was a talented craftsman working with wood and metal. Most of all, Tommy had a heart for people. He loved getting to know people, and made friends everywhere he traveled. He loved sharing his talents with others, and so many people have been blessed with his hand made gifts.

A Visitation for Thomas will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075; where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 1:30 PM; Burial Meadowridge Memorial Park.
