Roy Carroll Galyon

On Friday, August 21, 2020, Roy “Pop” Carroll Galyon of Elkridge, MD passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Ella Mae Galyon. Loving father of William C. Galyon, Theresa C. Renaud and her husband Dan, Linda J. Payne and her husband Charles and the late Robert C. Galyon. Grandfather of Jennifer Wolski, Miranda Rebstock, Maria Dunford, Mitchell Renaud, Brian Payne, Natalie Fisher and the late Nathan and Craig Galyon and Nick Renaud. Great-Grandfather of Ava Wolski, Ella, Karson and Owen Rebstock, John and Reagan Dunford, Mark Renaud, Romeo, Ivan and Julissa Cardenas. “Pop” was preceded in death by all of his siblings and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 ( exit 6 south off Rt. 100) on Wednesday from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm where a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11:00 am. Committal Service and Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the First Baptist Church of Savage, 8901 Washington St., Savage, MD 20763.
