On January 13, 2017 Ronald "Frank" Franklin Metz passed away peacefully at the age of 86 surrounded by his family. Frank was the beloved husband of the late Grace Metz (nee Fitzgerald) and the devoted father of Barbara Butka and her husband Joe, Linda Metz and the late Ronald Franklin, Jr., Donna Wells, Dottie Lester and son-in-law Mark Lester; dear brother of Virginia Herndon and the late Betty Bukowitz, Bob, Jim, Jack, Lee and Rosalie Schaffer. Loving grandfather of Eric, Michelle, Derek, Jennifer, Joey and Ryan; cherished great-grandfather of Joshwa, Luke, Audrey and Max. A Life Celebration of his life was held on Monday, January 16, 2017. Inurnment in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
