My Dear, Dear Aunt Pat: I will miss you for all my remaining days in life and thank you for all the wonderful memories throughout my life.  Our special/private moments were your annual Happy Birthday call; I think I called every year for 40 years with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 due to you or me being ill.  I will always remember your home-made Easter Eggs and I'm ever-so grateful that Gayle had passed along your recipe so Michael and I make them now as treats for our circle of friends. I have such fond memories of your's & Uncle Roddy's fun, fun, fun parties with Aunt Viola, Aunt Grace and everyone; during one of them you were teaching us the "alley-cat" in the back yard during one of Denise's birthday parties, the New Year's Eve parties and particularly the one when Sherry & I spent the night (and had a bit too much to drink) - that's the night she named you "Aunt Pat-Honnie" and we all woke up to so much snow that the bird bath in the back yard had disappeared and then we noticed all the cars in the front street were covered too... then all us kids got out and made a path and I think we walked to the Giant for food.  I know you loved the holidays... all the holidays but particularly Halloween & Christmas... You were a fantastic and generous cook and I still have the engraved Cross Pen & Pencil set you gave me on my 21st birthday.  I remember it was at your house that I first saw Color TV and the show playing was Dark Shadows and I was so impressed with the bright colors of the clothing...  I remember stopping by and chatting with you around lunchtime when I worked nearby your home... you are held so very deeply in my heart as not only my Aunt but as a very dear friend; thank you for the several "serious talks" we had in the kitchen... you were instrumental in helping me to be me and forever showing me your love.  Your home has always been a welcome spot for everyone and the door was always open... it seemed there were always someone stopping in... thanks for teaching me to play Pinochle and for so many things that I just can't think of right now.  You will be dearly missed but with the happy memories... you will be missed and remembered with a smile on my face and in my heart.

Aunt Pat will be missed. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. I told my Dad and he shook his head in sorrow. I will always remember Aunt Pats laughter, the black bird, and her little dogs that loved her so much. I guess they are all together again. My brother Bill was very close to Aunt Pat and I know it hurts him alot her passing. Family, Please know that we love you all, and our prayers are with you during this very hard time. Aunt Pat you will be missed.  You always greeted me and Tom with a warm smile and hug.  My best memories are when I was young and lived on Brighton Ave and you and Uncle Roddy lived in your old house.  You had some wonderful parties that you invited us too.  The food was awesome. I also remember our spare of the moment trip to Greenbrier State Park.  We had so much fun at your house and at the park.  I will always remember you.  I am so glad that you are no longer suffering.
