On Thursday September 18, 2014, Otis “Jim” Melrose Long of Linthicum Heights, MD, age 87, beloved husband for 53 years to Charlotte V. Long passed away. Loving father of David B. Long and wife, Debra, Sandra B. Love and husband, Jeffrey and Linda J. Sienkiewicz; beloved grandfather of Shawn Hyson, Jeff Sienkiewicz, Phillip Love, Brandon Love, Jessica Esposito and Sarah Dudeck. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Brynn Hyson, Marlee Hyson, Tallon Sienkiewicz, Mena Esposito, Samuel Esposito, loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Owen, his brother, Thomas Long, Sr., and son in-law, Chester Sienkiewicz.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland for visitation on Monday, September 22, 2014 and Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., where family and friends will gather on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 10 a.m.-11 a.m., followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, Maryland.
