Keith “Bub” William Elza, age 37, of Linthicum, Maryland passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Beloved husband of Ashleigh Elza. Loving father of Robert Keith Elza. Cherished son of Keith and Patricia Elza and in-laws Melvin and Sherry Bertrand. Brother of Kevin James Elza and wife Amy. Uncle of Thomas, Jaxon, Jordan, Tyler, and Grayson. Loving nephew of Cheri, Cyndi and Dan, Skip, Marty and Bruce, Kathy and Greg. Keith is also survived by his fur-babies Brooks and Lucy.
Keith was an incredibly loved man in every facet of his life. “Bub”, as so many family members called him, was loved and cherished by all. However, none more than his wife Ashleigh, and his son Robert, and his dogs Brooks and Lucy. His younger brother, his cousins and his nephews alike, all looked up to him as a hero, role model and best friend. His parents, Pat and Keith, worked hard to start him along the path of becoming an amazing man.
Keith spent most of his time worrying about others, always finding ways to go above and beyond. Whether it was loving his family, shopping at Costco, he always took it to the next level.
There was no end to his drive to help others. There was no limit to the amount of help he would offer. The scales will forever be in his favor. Helping others brought joy to him. We hope he knows how much joy he brought to those that he knew.
His sense of patriotism, love/hate relationship with Baltimore sports, and his addiction to collecting vintage advertising are a few more things he loved.
Keith, or “Bub”, will forever be missed. Life will never be the same for those that knew him, but his name and honor will forever be in the hearts of those who loved him until the day they join him.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 10:00am until the start of A Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 12:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Keith’s name to BARCS.
