John “Lew” Lewis Knickman, age 91, of Ellicott City, Maryland passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020. Beloved husband of Sandra Knickman. Loving father of Christopher Knickman, Michael Knickman, James Knickman (Rhonda), Kimberly Simpson, and the late Mark Knickman. Cherished grandfather of Lynn Waldner (Eric), Christopher Knickman, Jimmy Knickman, Ashley Knickman, Lisa Knickman, Jessica Knickman, Chad Simpson, and Dustin Simpson. Great-grandfather of Mela, Anya, Willa, and Presley. Lew is also survived by many other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lew's name to the National Kidney Foundation.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 11:00am at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100). Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park. With limitations made to funeral practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all guests are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing per current public health guidelines.
