John “Butch” Gersey, age 70, of Elkridge, Maryland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary Gersey. Loving father of Shanna Edwards and her husband Robert. Cherished grandfather of Jared Davis, Sophia Davis, Nicholas Davis, Bodhi Edwards, and Sadie Edwards. Brother of Anna Muir. Butch is also survived by many other loving family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at Meadowridge Memorial Park on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:30am with interment to follow.
