Jimmie was the eldest son of James and Florinda Dodson. He was born in Weston, WV and attended St. Patrick's School where he excelled in basketball. The family moved to Randallstown, MD in the late 60's and he remained in the Baltimore area the remainder of his life.
He is survived by two brothers, Joe and Steve and four sisters, Barbara, Patricia, Catherine and Eileen.
A memorial service will be held at Kaufman Funeral Home on Saturday, April 10th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Gerald Bowen conducting the service. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
