On Thursday, June 24, 2021, Helen Catherine Hawkins of Catonsville, MD passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Newton Hawkins. Loving sister of Elizabeth King and Hermina “Minnie” Dunker (Robert Jr.). Devoted aunt of Robert Dunker III, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at St. Joseph's Nursing Home Chapel, 1222 Tugwell Drive, Catonsville, MD 21228 at 9:30 am. Her Committal Service and Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD. The family would like to thank all of the nuns and staff at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home for the exceptional care they gave to Helen.
