Harry Anderson Bowie, Sr. age 86, of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Harry was born October 21, 1935 to parents Robert M., Sr. and Edith Bowie. Beloved husband of 67 years to Beulah C. Bowie (nee Whipps) and the devoted father of Michael Craig Bowie (Jenn), Robert Bowie (Dana) and Harry "Andy" Anderson Bowie, Jr. Dear brother of Ada Hobbs and the late Suzanne Hibbs, Robert M. Bowie, Maryann Spiech, and Audrey. Cherished grandfather of Shawn P. Bowie, Michell Lee Pimentel (Eddie), Megan C. Bowie, Jamie L. Bowie, Hunter Bowie, and Brian Bowie. Great-grandfather of Emma Pimentel.
Harry was a general contractor and president of NU Homes Inc., building beautiful homes for many families in Columbia and surrounding areas in Maryland.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm at which time a Celebration of Life Service will begin. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
