Gayle Young Cory, age 76, of Ellicott City, Maryland went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2023. Gayle was born on January 12, 1947 to her parents, the late Arthur Edward and Clara Lillian Young; Gayle was the beloved wife of the late Robert Jackson Cory and the devoted mother of Christine Cory Knott (John), Marie Pendergrass (Paul, Sr.) and Robert "Bob" Roth; dear sister of Deborah Pruett, Edward Young, Patricia Lawson, Michael Young, Kathleen Sciandra, Carol Adkins and the late Arthur Young; loving grandmother of Victoria Pendergrass, Paul Pendergrass, Jr., Robert Knott, Erica Roth, Sean Roth, and Megan Roth; cherished great-grandmother of Aryanna Pendergrass.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 4795 Ilchester Road, Ellicott City, Maryland 21043 on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00am.
