Frederick William Stencil, III age 59, passed away on January 24, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Fred, born to Carolyn and Frederick, Jr. on May 22, 1964, lived a life full of passion, kindness, and devotion to his loved ones.
Fred is predeceased by his father, Frederick William Stencil, Jr. Fred is survived by his Loving Wife of 31 years, Sharon; Beloved Daughters Alexandra Stencil (Billy), Casey Stencil (Bryan), and Laura Spisak (Jason); Devoted Mother, Carolyn Stencil; Dear Siblings Rhonda Vila, Brian Stencil, and Kevin Stencil; Cherished Grandchildren, Evan and Natalie Spisak; Father-In-Law Allen Hughes; Brother-In-Law Mark Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.
Fred was deeply devoted to his wife, daughters, and family. His love for sports was evident through his enthusiasm for both Baltimore teams, attending many Ravens games and holding season tickets to the O’s. Beyond his excitement of sports, Fred found joy in crabbing and boating. Some of Fred’s most treasured moments were spent hosting crab feasts and cookouts for his family and neighbors. His famous orange crushes and kid-friendly snowballs were the highlights of these gatherings. Fred also enjoyed sitting on the beach, listening to Jimmy Buffet, going on family vacations, and spending time at his camper. He loved attending concerts – especially Buffet and Crack the Sky. Additionally, Fred spent 41 years working at Applied Industrial Technologies, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to his work.
Fred will always be remembered as a genuine, kind, and caring soul. He consistently went the extra mile, doing special things for his friends and family. Fred’s light and love will continue to shine in the memories of all who were fortunate to know him. His spirit, kindness, and generosity will never be forgotten.
A visitation for Frederick will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Church, 5976 Old Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
