Edward J. Vogel

On September 10, 2014 EDWARD J. VOGEL formally of Jessup died at the age of 90. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and faithful catholic and supporter of both the St. Augustine and St. Lawrence parishes. He was a farmer and local businessman in Jessup and retired as a railroad engineer in 1985 from the CSX Corporation. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 69 years, his children Ronald H. Vogel and his wife Maria, Edward J. Vogel and his wife Claudia, Richard G. Vogel and his wife Teresa, Patricia V. Buckley and her husband John, Barbara V. Madera and the late Joseph Vogel. Brother of Agnes Provost, and the late Senora Cook, John, Gilbert and William Vogel. Loving “Pop Pop” of Evan, Erich, Hannah, Abbie, Ben, Emma and Eddie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, September 15, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Elkridge, MD at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Church Cemetery, Jessup, MD. Arrangements handled by the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., Elkridge, MD.
