David Carroll Shifflett

David Carroll Shifflett age 67 of Pelion, South Carolina passed away on Friday May 8, 2020. He was born May 19, 1952 in Annapolis, Maryland to his late parents McKinley Johnson Shifflett and Della Mae Shifflett. He was proceeded in death by his brother Charles Morris and his sister Shirley Johnson. David is survived by his wife Audrey Shifflett, his three beautiful children David Fredericks, Amanda McClurg and Katie Green. His brother McKinley Johnson Shifflett, Jr. and his wife Sue Shifflett, and sister Audrey Owens. His beloved grandchildren Dean, Roman, Patricia, and Kristen Fredericks, Paige Feely, Joseph Fredericks, and Leighanne Bruce. He is also survived by his nieces Rachel Engler, Nancy Colona, and Della Rosenberger. His nephews Mckinley the 3rd, Charles Morris, Billy Johnson, and Henry Schoen. David is also survived my many other family and friends. David was employed by Howard County until he retired. He served in the nation guard. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed going to the races with his brother and children. He was a good father, friend and truly will be missed.

With limitations made to funeral practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic, David’s family is planning a private Graveside Service at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens where David will be laid to rest.
