I was saddened to hear of Charlie's passing.  I have fond memories of being at your home and at the garage as a child.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I worked at Waterloo barracks 1968-1975. There was no better friend then Charlie Miles. I'am so sad I did not keep in touch after moving to Carroll County. He will always be remembered when troopers from Waterloo get together to swap stories.

While I worked for MSP at the Waterloo Barerack in 71/72 I often wondered how Charlie could get out of a warm bed at 3AM in cold weather to do a tow with a smile on his face and his never changing pleasant disposition.  A great guy to work with and know personally.  Rest in peace my friend.

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel over the loss of your beloved husband/father.  One of my fondest memories will be his laugh, it seemed to bounch off the walls and was infectious! Also, will always remember the deer hunting season in WV (always a good time).  Millie, do you remember driving Nan & I back on Thanksgiving Eve in a terrible snowstorm?  Although I cannot be there in body, I will be there in spirit and praying that the good Lord find (in time) you peace.  Love you so much....

I was a Maryland State Trooper at the Waterloo Barrack in the 1970s. I remember seeing and working with Charlie and his tow trucks on many occasions. A true gentleman who always greeted us with a smile no matter the time of day or weather. Rest in peace.

I have fond memories of Charles and Millicent and their family from many years ago at my Grandmother's summer home at Bayside Beach.  I remember him as kind, fun loving and a good father. I can't forget his beautiful smile. My sincere condolences to Millicent and her children.

Charles and I were in the Elkridge Vol. Fire Dep. in 1957 we were the first ambulance that was started, also with 7 women in the ambulance service.  We had an old Cad. to work with.  Charles mad a great captain with what we had to deal with about supplies.  My late wife Judy Kay Helton Pool was with me on our Tuesday evening shift, I was so proud of her.  Charles was a good man and he will be mist.  We don't have people like that these days, it just not the same.
