Colleen is predeceased by her loving husband, James Shannon; her oldest son, Richard "Richie" Sommers, Jr.; and dear brothers, Charles Stansbury and James Stansbury.
Colleen is survived by her loving children, Dawn Fromm (Billy) and Michael Sommers (Tabitha); brother, Richard "Dicky" Stansbury; 9 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Colleen will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at MMP, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 at 12:00 PM, Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
