Allen Kok, age 77, of Laurel, Maryland passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023. Devoted Husband of 43 years to Alice Kok; Loving Father to Andrea Lam (Tuan) and Audrey Gitkos (Steve); Dear Brother to many brothers and sisters; Beloved Grandfather of Aliyah and Abigail Gitkos, and Andrew and Amelia Lam.
Allen was a man of faith and had an extraordinary love for Jesus - his life was a true testimony of God's pure love and faithfulness. He dedicated much of his time to his church community, and even carried on his ministry by going on several short-term mission trips with his wife, Alice. Allen also had a love for traveling, gardening, and Costco samples. He was well-known for his sweet tooth (especially cheesecake and ice cream), his expertise in taking selfies, his great sense of humor and finding a way to bring laughter to those around him.
Above all, Allen was an exceptional father, and had such a great amount of love and pride for his grandchildren. He will always be remembered as being the life of the party, and truly lived a full and joyful life.
A visitation for Allen will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM.
