Abbie Marie Smith

Abbie was also known to her family as Marie. She is survived by her son Raymond Christopher Smith of Minneapolis, MN, her daughter and son-in-law Holly and Brooke Laggner of Longwood, Fl, her daughter Susan Reilley of Sanford, Fl. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Brooke and Lauren Laggner of Port Orange, Fl, Brandon Laggner of Longwood, FL, Ryan Laggner and Maria Valentina Vargas of Orlando, FL and Elizabeth and Jordan Reilley-Awerbach of Durham, NC. She is also survived by two great grandchildren Hannah and Ava Laggner of Port Orange.

Abbie Marie was born on August 6, 1921 in Catonsville, Md to Marie Angela Collins (nee Moran) and Fletcher Taylor Collins. She graduated from St. Martin’s High School, was married in 1949 and moved to Wilmington Delaware where she raised her family. She worked for Kenneth Lilly Fasteners until she retired and later moved to Longwood, Florida in 1996.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100 south) on Thursday, September 27th, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm A “Celebration of Life” Service will be held on Thursday, September 27th, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate the life of Abbie Marie.
