Alma Baker

Alma graduated from Fordson High School. She married Edward Baker at 18 years old and they spent 58 years happily married. Together they raised two children. Alma earned her Bachelor’s Degree from EMU at the age of 46, and later earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology at the Merrill Palmer Institute in Detroit.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her son Tom Baker, parents, and brother Alvin Dalke. Alma is survived by her daughter Susan (Bruce) Finlayson, grandchildren Kerri Finlayson, Tracey (Scott) Mitchell, Nathan (Vicky) Baker, Adam (Jenny) Baker, great grandchildren Dereck and Julia Baker, and Emma Mitchell, and daughter-in-law Lynne Baker.
