Virginia "Ginny" Whitlow

Ginny was a loving caregiver, enjoyed fishing, flowers, listening to Southern Gospel music, and spending time with her family and friends. She could shoot a dead shot with her .22 rifle as well! Her family remembers their fondest memories surrounded around her cooking. She made everything with love.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Herbert Delano Whitlow; son-in-law, Bob Hatcher; and grandson, Ryan Curry.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Eric Winters (Russell), Glenda Wells (Mark), Reba Harris (Wayne), Genia Whitlow, Carola Whitlow, and Micah Curry; grandchildren, Tessa Curry, Jacob Harris, Aundrea Scott, Tanner Whitlow, and Mathisen Whitlow; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; siblings, Dora Hundley, Clara Bracken, Norman Creason (Diane), Tommy Creason; special friend, Jill Lofton; and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

The funeral is at 11 am on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Burial will follow in Franklin Crossroads Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 15th from 2 pm – 6 pm and continues after 9 am until start of service on Monday at 11am.
