He was born November 4, 1937, to the late Patrick and Ethel Ray.
He retired from Jenkins-Esses after 31 years. After his retirement, he opened his own custom cabinet business, RL Ray’s Cabinets.
He is proceeded in death by his loving parents Patrick and Ethel Ray; his sister Doris Edlin; brother-in-law, Pat Edlin; his brother, Fred Ray; and sister-in-law Edna Ray.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Ray; a son, Christopher Ray; a daughter, Julia Gillespie; two grandchildren, Brandosh’la Yeske and James Ray; two great grandchildren, Devin Yeske and Ava Yeske; and his two beloved dogs, Bobby and Elvis.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Ben Brown officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Brown Funeral Home Wednesday, April 9 from 4 to 8 p.m.
