He was a native of Hardin County and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Woody worked for Crumax Magnetics as a machine operator for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Daugherty; his parents, Beeler and Bessie Daugherty; a sister, Margaret; and one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Beavins.
Survivors include his brother, James Daugherty; one sister-in-law, Littie (Doug) Clark; one brother-in-law, Jimmy (Bonnie) Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.
In following Norman’s wishes, he was cremated.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
A private burial will take place at a later date in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
