He was a hardworking, kind, and gentle soul. He spent most of his time farming and was a lifelong member of St. Clare Catholic Church. Faith, family, and friends were Jimmy's priorities.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 34 years, Denise Jaggers Myers of Lebanon Junction; two daughters, Donya Walters and Devin (Cody) Alvey; his parents, Bill and Phyllis Myers; six sisters, Debbie (Rick) Ryan, Denise Vaught, Denette (David) Hebert, Dana (Roger) Ryan, Donna (Greg) Rovinski, and Dianna Jo (Eddie) Crawford; five grandchildren, Austin (Anna) Walters, Dylan Walters, Madisyn Walters, Emmy Kate, and Oakley Alvey; and one great-grandchild, Kaden Rigdon.
The funeral will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at St. Clare Catholic Church with Father Ben Brown officiating. Burial follows in St. Clare Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2023 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continue after 9 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
