Yvonne was born on August 12, 1957 to Joe and Manuela Martinez in El Paso, Tx. Yvonne was the 9th out of 13 siblings. After graduating high school, she went on to pursue her career at Sierra Medical Center in the laboratory, which she worked for 35 years.
Yvonne was a dedicated, loving and caring mother to her “One and Only” Audrey. She was a compassionate, kind and warm hearted grandmother, daughter, sister,aunt, cousin and friend. Family always came first. Yvonne will always be remembered for her kindness, welcoming heart and tough love. When she wasn’t out shopping with her daughter and sisters, she was out ballroom and county western dancing.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Manuela. Siblings, Johnny, Lorenzo, Daniel, Gloria, Martha, Pepe, Lupe and Robert and nephews, Patrick, David and Joseph.
She is survived by daughter, Audrey (Edgar), granddaughter, Brianna “biboochis” (James), grandson, Justin “Güero”, great grandchildren, Nova, Kylo & Brooke. Also, sisters, Eliza, Rosa, Irene & Diana, sisters-in-law Rosie and Grace, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thank you to her Tender Care Hospice nurses and home health aide.
Celebration of life will be held on Thursday December 22, 2022 from 4-9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St. El Paso, TX 79904.
