Survived by her parents, Guadalupe and Ronald Coffey; her brothers, Lance and Sean Coffey, sisters-in-law, Pamala and Adela Coffey; nephews, Adrian, Michael and Dominic Coffey; niece, Andrea Coffey; paternal grandparents, John and Ann Ott; 9 aunts, 8 uncles and numerous cousins. She is also survived by her beloved, dog, Mattie, and her friend (sister) Raquel Deal, who at times was also her caregiver.
Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Cruz and Graciela Rincon, paternal grandfather, Charles Coffey, uncle, Joe Rincon and her best girlfriend, Marie DeLeon.
Yvonne graduated from Hanks High School in 1993 and attended a business college. She loved to watch old sitcoms, loved C&W music, The Beatles and the Green Bay Packers and loved animals, especially all the family dogs. She loved her family and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends.
A special thanks to her caregiver, Dixie Lockemy, and to neighbors Jose and Emma Acosta, Eddie Chavez & family. Yolanda Fuentes and Mauricio Cordero & family. She will be greatly missed by her mother, who was her constant companion, caregiver and friend. She brought out the best in all of her family and friends who showered her with love and kindness.
The Coffey Family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 5-9 PM in the Chapel of Funeraria Del Angel Martin East with Recitation of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:30 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with an entry time of 1:00 PM.
