Yolanda is survived by her son Ricky Alvarez; her son Robert Mata; her son Gustavo Mata; her son Pete Mata; and her daughter Yolanda Y. Lopez; her sister Martha Melendez and her sister Elvira Corona.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her husband Roberto Mata.
A visitation for Yolanda will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A vigil will occur Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 6:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral mass will occur Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester St, El Paso, Texas. A graveside service will occur Monday, February 7, 2022 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906.
