On Saturday, May 25, 2019, Virginia Palacios at the age of 89 received her wings and God called her home. She was born on November 29, 1929 in Pilares Chihuahua Mexico to the late Castulo and Maria de Jesus Parra. Virginia was the fifth of seven children; five of her siblings preceded her in death. Virginia married Marcos Palacios Sr. in January 1950. She is preceded in death by her son Jose Manuel, daughter Magdalena and Marcos Sr. Virginia is survived by her children; Mario Palacios, Marcos Palacios Jr., and Marta Palacios-Jones; sister Monica Vasquez; 12 grandchildren; Michael, James, Joel, Janice, Marcos III, Marcelo, Mikey, Michelle, Micaela, Krystal, Alexis and Marcos; 11 great grandchildren; Gwyneth, Emma, Anthony, Benjamin, Bella, Tatum, Lexi, Avery, Carlos Manuel, Carlos and Jazel; and 1 great great grandchild Sabrina. Visitation will take place Friday May 31, 2019 from 5 to 9 p.m., with a rosary service at 7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass to be held Saturday June 1, 2019 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Light Church, 4700 Delta Dr., with a burial to immediately follow at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd. **In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the American Diabetes Association. Thank you.
