Victoria Barrios, age 91, passed away peacefully with her granddaughter, Claudia, by her side. She was an exceptional mother and grandmother to all of her children. She inspired us to be the best version of ourselves and through example taught us how to love and forgive. Growing up, she was the mother whose hugs never failed to warm your heart, whose smiles made us feel things were not so bad after all, and her laugh always brightened our day.
She leaves behind her children, Helen, Larry (Emma), Mary (Elias), Willa (Larry), and Javier (Lucy). She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5pm-9pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N Carolina, El Paso, TX 79915. A Funeral Mass will take place at 7:30am on Friday, May 20, 2022 at St Paul the Apostle Church, 7424 Mimosa Ave, El Paso, TX 79915. Serving as Pallbearers will be Rene, Richard, Jacob, Javier, Larry, and Matthew. Rite of Committal will follow at 9am at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938.
