Vicente V. Ordoñez

Vicente V. Ordoñez, a loving husband and father, age 88, of El Paso,Texas passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. He was born in San Elizario on June 26, 1935, and married to Sofia C. Ordoñez on May 18, 1958. Vicente had a career as a Map Plat supervisor for the City of El Paso Central Appraisal District.

He was a member of the Lions Club and had a passion for golf, baseball, playing cards, and volleyball.

He is survived by his wife Sofia Ordoñez, his son Vicente C. Ordoñez, his three daughters, Rebecca Meza (John), Esther McCarthy (Ron), Leticia Augsberger (Rich), his two brothers Miguel Ordoñez (Irene), Teofilo Ordoñez (Irma), his four sisters, Eliza Hernandez, Carmen Watkins, Manuela Gallegos, Hortencia Guillen, his grandchild John A. Meza (Mallory), Andrea Meza, Emily McCarthy, Isabella Ordoñez, William Augsberger, Alexandria Augsberger, and his great grandchild, Emma Tibbs.

Vicente is preceded in death by his sister, Angelica Ordonez.

Visitation for Vicente will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East with Rosary/Vigil service in the Angel Chapel at 11:00 AM. Reception will follow the services in the Banquet Hall at Evergreen East from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm with Interment being held at 2:00 pm at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
